(border the page with "like light is a particle and a wave") Freddy's Ark is a place and a story that embodies a process at 1656 North Tonti 7th Ward, New Orleans the Ark found us March of 2023 by its address, the square footage said, "look at me!" sixteen 56... my birth year is nineteen 56... in the afternoon at four 56 eight sevens is 56 square footage 1008 ... my birth day 10/08. People ask, "How'd you notice?" That's part of the big trajectory: when young, a spirit visitor came to me regularly. "the Numbers Lady" who got my attention by raising the price of my beloved duo of oreos and 8oz milk... other kids' cost stayed the same at a quarter but mine? ten, then a hundred, then a million, "Do you know how much that is?" "Do you know how far away the stars are?" "Do you know how much infinity is?" night after night and one night terrified I cried, mom, don't leave! the Numbers Lady is coming." She said, "Tell her to go away." And I did, "Go away. Go away!" And she did. but numbers remained later in life was nicknamed "The Numbers Lady" as mathematics coach... so God's gift of the Ark flowed from those oreos where we meet frequently; 12 Step Meetings, Rowdy Beauty Bible Studies, Book Study Groups, one-on-ones, late night, early morning gatherings... crushed, we enter to heal, get free, give! |
The Altar
Enter the DOOR into the courtyard ENCOUNTER massive altar where rams, lambs, pigeons burn as people surrender and show their willingness to purify, sancity, approach God. The tabernacle, too, is a place and a story, that embodies a process: a mobile sanctuary constructed in the desert according to the architectural plans delivered from Mount Sinai to Moses. |
